#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate Will.i.am Denies Trying To Sue Pharrell Williams Over “i.am” Brand Name

Some bloggers earlier reported that Black Eyed Peas member, Will.i.am is considering filing a legal suit against fellow producer and singer, Pharrel Williams over his new brand logo which is similar to his. Will.i.am whose real name is William James Adama, only stated in a notice of opposition that the registration of the mark is likely to dilute the I AM mark and the WILL.I.AM mark and has revealed he doesn't intend to sue Pharrel in a Tweet saying

 I am not suing @Pharrell & I never was.

    Although Pharrell released a statement responding to the order saying,

I am disappointed that Will, a fellow artist, would file a case against me. I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will’s trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as meritless and ridiculous as I do.

However Will.i.am’s lawyer, Ken Hertz has issued a statement saying,

will.i.am is not suing Pharrell Williams. What will.i.am has done is what any trademark owner must do to protect and maintain a trademark. In order to avoid weakening his trademark, will.i.am has an obligation under trademark law to monitor and defend his trademarks against confusingly similar marks. We hope to work out a sensible compromise that will allow both parties to move forward without unnecessary acrimony.

Representatives of the Sormland County Council and other unions are clamouring for sitting only positions for public restrooms. Supporters of the law against standing while urinating believe that male health will be improved while sitting to urinate because the bladder tend to release excess urine.
   Professor John Gamel of University of Louisville, believes that the law won't stop men from acting in a less than sanitary manner while relieving themselves. Feminists in some parts of Europe have started the “Drop your trousers and sit” campaign with placards to discourage standing while urinating at home.

Kim is so close to giving birth and she’s big and uncomfortable. Knowing Kanye partied with all of their friends really made her mad. Kim totally respects Kanye and the work he has to do, but as her due date grows closer she is getting mad about how little time they’re spending together and wishes that he would try and accommodate her more.

Teens favourite, Justin Bieber would have sneaked into the Lure nightclub in Hollywood successfully with the aid of his security, but all their effort was wasted as the 19 year old got a shout out from Jayceon Taylor popularly known as The Game who was on the stage.

     According to reports, someone from Justin’s camp came earlier and told the club the singer would be coming around, but the club management told him they wouldn’t allow Justin in because he’s underage. Bieber allegedly got in through a back door around 7pm but was escorted out immediately by club security after rapper, The Game saw Justin entering the club and announced that Bieber was in the building.

               Justin Bieber and his guards left immediately after being embarrassed.

#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate BREAKING: Riot In University Of Uyo, Police Fires Teargas To Scare Students.

According to reports reaching FRESHOUT9ja, a protest which eventually became a riot is ongoing within the premises of the University of Uyo which is located in Uyo, the capital of Akwa-ibom state.

Sources say the protest was because engineering students were tranferred from the main campus to the permanent site while the students requested for transportation means through their peaceful protest till security operatives came to disrupt the protest.
     Security operatives have reportedly fired shots of teargas into the air while there are reported cases of certain students who have fainted as a result of the fumes. Also, the school gates have been shut preventing entry or exit.

#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate San Francisco Police Confirms 2Chainz Robbery, Despite Rapper’s Denials

2Chainz could be scared his street credibility is threatened so he decided to lie about being robbed, but San Fransisco Police has confirmed the incident which occured over the weekend. The 35 year  old rapper whose real name is Tauheed Epps alongside five members of his entourage were attacked by three men while one of them had a gun.
      Police Sgt. Dennis Toomer of San Francisco Police Department confirmed the rapper was robbed hours before he was to perform at a concert. He further said,

Mr. Epps is listed as a victim of a stolen wallet containing credit cards, U.S. currency and a cell phone.

While 2Chainz kept denying the incident, he said certain things to defend himself concerning the allegations.  He tweeted,

Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken. Rings, chains, watch , money etc.... Rule #2 if a rapper gets shot he usually go to hospital or dies...... Rule #3 we definitely got geeked up in San Fran, best smoke in the world. 2 blessed 2 stress.

Although, going to school doesn't guarantee if an individual would be successful or not, a new study by The Hamilton Project, a division of the Brookings Institution shows that even students who drop out of college tend to make more income than those that didn't attend at all.
     According to survey, college graduates make about $500,000 more during their lifetimes compared to those without a degree while dropouts most likely have an average earning of $100,000 or more over a lifetime.
The April 2013 Bureau of Labour Statistics data shows that the unemployment level for people between the ages of 25 years and above with just a high school diploma was 7.2 percent, while for individuals with an associate’s degree, the rate was 5 percent. For graduates with a bachelor’s degree or higher, unemployment was only 3.6 percent.

This write up is one of the most difficult so far because of the personality involved, Jose Mourinho as many know isn't a man of few words. So far so good, this is his first press conference on his prodigal return to Stamford Bridge. His interview was on for about 50minutes with his Unveiling such as that of a Box Office Block Buster Premiere. At Stamford Bridge 250 journalists and 40 TV crew where there present and he came late.
    

       When asked if he was still the special one, he stated:

I am the happy one. Time flies, it looks like it was a couple of days ago but it was nine years ago when I first became manager and since then a lot of things happened in my professional life. I have the same nature, I am the same person, I have the same heart and the same kind of emotions related to my passion for football and my job, but of course I am a different person. If I have to describe myself, I would describe myself as a very happy person. It is the first time I arrive in a club where I already love the club, before I had to build an emotional relationship and I only came to love the club a little later.

When asked on whether he can be more successful, he said:

I want to believe it is possible, I always trust my work. In this case I know many people who belong to the club and I know the type of mentality and ambition people have. My career has been built and raised on success. In every club, I was able to achieve success and win trophies and leave different types of legacy. I have to believe in that. The club is more important than ourselves. If we work well, normally success arrives.

When asked about his relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, Mourinho said:

I read that I was fired and we had a complete breakdown in relationship, that was not true. At the time we thought it was the best for both of us, one of points for me is my relationship with the owner has to be private. What is discussed has to be private, That privacy is crucial. I didn't choose a comfortable position because I'm returning to a house where I was happy and successful and where fans loved me. I'm coming from the opposite way. The expectations are higher because people know what I can deliver. I want to be respected for achievements in the past but I want to respected for what I achieve now.

 Mourinho also revealed he'll prefer to be reffered to as 'the happy one'. He said,

 I'm very happy, I spent two years at Inter and three at Madrid, five years in a managerial career is a long time. Football is an industry where you learn a lot of yourself and learn a lot every day.

On his plans for the Chelsea squad, he said:

There are still a few boys from my previous time here, which is always good to go back and see these people who gave me absolutely everything. There's no privilege for them, they know my nature as a manger and they don't have any advantage over other people. There is a group of boys that Chelsea did very well to get in these past years and I will be more than happy to work with them and improve them.

Finally! I return as a Chelsea fan. I now have a reason to compulsorily watch at least 38 premier league matches every season, he said.

#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate China Set To Construct World's Most Tallest Building Within Three Months

I don't know the magical powers the Chinese are about to utilize on this project, but surely we'll watch how they'll make history. Chinese construction firm, Broad Sustainable Building have ambitious plans to construct the world’s tallest building in China within three months. Broad Sustainable Building plans to construct the project named Sky City by prefabricating the materials needed for construction off-site for four months, then erect the structures within three months on-site.
   

Asides being the tallest building in the world, Sky City is projected to reduce the per capita usage of land and would require about 16,000 part time and 3,000 full time workers to complete the task. The proposed 170 floor building would have 92 elevators and 56 different 30 foot high courtyards that can be used for sports and entertainment. Currently, the tallest building in the world is Burj Khalifa in Abu Dhabi and it took about five years for it to be completed despite several challenges.

There is a saying that 'God made the Earth and every other thing is made in China', now is a chance to know how true this assumption is.

Contrary to reports that surfaced on the internet yesterday, South African revolutionary leader who was the President of South Africa between 1994 to 1999, Nelson Mandela is not dead. The 94 year old was taken to Heart Clinic in Pretoria at about 1:30am on Saturday for the fourth time in recent times after his health condition deteriorated but he is in a 'serious but stable' condition.
    

    A parody account which is not associated to the controversial British Tv personality, Piers Morgan reportedly posted the Nelson Mandela death hoax on social networks stating that Madiba as he is fondly called died in his sleep. Piers Morgan has implored Twitter to track down the fake account 'Piersrnorgan' and shut it down to avoid future occurences.

Mandela who will celebrate his 95th birthday on July 18th next month by God's grace was first diagnosed with tuberculosis in 1988 and has had treatments for prostate cancer. In December, Mandela spent 18 days in hospital, that was regarded as his longest time in a hospital. Also in March, he was admitted for an overnight scheduled medical check up but ended up spending 10 days in the hospital, he was also treated for pneumonia in April.

#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate Brazil's ‘Happy Prostitute’ Advert Rejected By The Masses

In recent times, Brazil has been regarded as a sex tourism centre and this has made the South American country one of the most attractive place for travellers as a top tourist spot. However Brazil recently launched a campaign to encourage people to accept of sex workers.

     This motive of openly advertising safer prostitution by the government was to raise awareness of sexually transmitted diseases just like the AIDs campaign that was initiated earlier where free condoms were distributed in a country dominated by Roman Catholics.

The happy prostitute advert has failed to achieve it's proposed aim. Although, the terrible poverty in Brazil is one of the factors that has forced many young females to become prostitutes. Health Minister, Alexandre Padilha and other critics have regarded the advert as glorifying sex work.

I do not think this is a message the ministry should be sending. For as long as I remain in office, an ad like that will not be part of our campaigns, the Minister stated.

The 'happy prostitute' campaign is set to be re-modified and the focus is still on safe sex, demonstrated by the ”Not ashamed of using a condom” slogan in order to keep the current sex tourism climate.

Despite being warned by the producers of the Billboard Music Awards not to jump over the crowd during his performance, Miguel didn't listen and now the aftermath of the less than five minutes incident could cost him alot. According to sources, Miguel asked producers of the show before rehearsals if he could jump over the crowd but they refused because that type of risk is too dangerous.

   The victim's attorney, Vip Bhola stated his client, Khyati Shah is seriously considering suing the 27 year old American singer depending on the outcome of her medical results. Bhola said,

Shah didn’t receive proper medical attention after the kick and while she was given an ice pack, she should have been rushed to the hospital.

The attorney said Shah has been having severe difficulties which are cognitive in nature since the incident occured and there is a suspicion of a neurological head injury. The results from a neurologist will determine if she'll file a lawsuit or not.
