Last week, we educated every reader of this blog on basic things to be considered before purchasing automobiles in Nigeria, we also talked about the advantages of certain cars such as Nissan, Honda Etc. Below is what we have for you all this week.

The Mitsubishi is a strong Japanese car. Fast and sporty with powerful engines e.g Gallant or Lancer, but they refuse to keep up with the bar raised by Honda and Toyota in terms of designs. The Mazda is also a Japanese design, it's mostly utilized in the southwestern part of Nigeria such as Lagos-Ibadan, Ibadan-Oshogbo routes. They have some sleek racing cars too and they utilize most parts Toyota cars posses.

      Volkwagen, can also boast of the ever reliable Golf 1, 2, 3 and 4 as their best seller after the transporter bus.  This is as a result of the very strong and rugged engine they have but the recent golf cars have wiring problem which is terrible. The Toyota brand has no major problem asides the shock and engine sit. Apart from that, its economical, less fuel consumption and has a good second hand value especially the camry 2.2 tiny or droplight. Toyota is basically the best brand for Nigerian roads.

   Acura is a brand under the Honda umbrella with very lovely and sophisticated designs like the Mdx, Zdx and Co. They are powerful both on the inside and on the outside, their cars are unique too.

 NB: We wont be analysing the Mercedes or BMW in this category. That will be disrespectful.

A boy named Marcos Arenas, who was an athlete and choir singer at Garside Junior High School has reportedly died defending the iPad his struggling father had recently bought from a pawn shop as a birthday gift for him. The 15 year old, was attacked by two guys as he was using his iPad while walking home. Surveillance video showed two men surreptitiously following the boy in a Ford Explorer, it all happened at Charleston Boulevard, a low income area of Las Vegas.
    Marcos who tried to fight his assailants, before they ran away, has been buried according to his father.

For us, that thing was just an iPad, but for Marcos... it was something his daddy worked hard to get him. He knew what I was going through, we didn’t have a lot. If he had something nice, he’d treasure it. He battled for what was his, I know Marcos would have fought anyone for that iPad, His dad stated.

The alleged killers of the boy, 18 year old Jacob Dismont and 21 year old Michael Samuel Solid were in court for a bail hearing last week, prosecutor Robert Daskas referred to them as lions on the Serengeti, waiting to pounce, to ambush the smallest member of a pack.

 They had an orchestrated, preconceived plan to rob this 15 year old. As a result, the state is pursuing charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and first-degree murder with the use of a deadly weapon. Daskas revealed

Prosecutors are hoping to charge the suspects for first degree murder, Since they've already changed the tyres of the truck and faked license plates.

Most people consider 50 Cent whose real name is Curtis Jackson, as a gangster because of what he preaches in his songs but deep down, he has a good heart. D’aja Robinson who was returning from a Sweet 16 party when a gunman fired about 10 bullets into a crowded bus at the corner of Rockaway and Sutphin Boulevards at around 8:45pm got hit in the head by one of the bullets.

The 14 year old girl had nothing to with this, It’s a terrible tragedy. But it’s indicative of the fact that we just have too many guns and too many young people with access to these guns, New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said

D’aja Robinson who was described as someone that liked to dance and sing had her at Greater A.M.E. Cathedral in Jamaica and 2,500 people attended to mourn the teenager. D'aja’s best friend, Shaquanna Almonds, tearfully addressed her best friend’s white coffin at the funeral, saying

We had so much fun, laughing, dancing, taking pictures. Who could have known walking down the block would have been my last time with my best friend? Who could have known when I was holding her in my arms? D’aja, I miss you so much.

The G-Unit boss who paid for the horse and carriage procession that carried Robinson’s coffin to her funeral service wrote on his Facebook page,

People always try and paint negative images about me, I’m the most genuine down to earth person and I didn’t forget where I came from. I came through for baby girl by providing a horse and carriage for her. She was pretty, innocent and didn't deserve to die like that.

Chris Brown seem to be confused about his love life. Just few weeks after he and Rihanna broke up for the umpteenth time, it's rumored that Karrueche has moved in with him. Although sources say Chris and his former girlfriend are trying to rekindle their relationship and has been spending so much time with Chris brown at his home in the Hollywood Hills, so she decided to move in.
      

    However, Karrueche Tran is apparently keeping her apartment just in case things don’t work out but most of her belongings are currently at Brown’s place. The couple were in a relationship last year until they broke up in October.
Chris Brown who is currently under investigation for an accident that occured last week stated he's confident he's not going back to jail because there was no damages.

#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate EXCLUSIVE: Fish Oil Supplements May Protect The Heart During Stressful Situations - study

Michigan Technological University conducted a study with 67 healthy volunteers between the ages of 20 to 25years. The participants were given nine grams of fish oil pills or nine grams of olive oil as a placebo and were screened for blood pressure, heart rate and other related analysis. At the end of the test period, both groups of participants took an arithmetic test which is similar to a test administered on day three. This test involved addition and subtraction of numbers in their head while their stress response was being measured.

    Those in the fish oil group showed blunted heart rate reactivity while they were stressed compared to those who took olive oil. Similarly, the total muscle sympathetic nerve activity reactivity to mental stress was also blunted in the fish oil group. There was not much difference between the two groups at rest.
The authors of this study revealed,

  8 weeks of fish oil supplementation significantly reduced both HR and total MSNA reactivity to mental stress and generated a paradoxical blunting of calf vascular conductance. These findings support and extend the growing evidence that fish oil may have positive health benefits regarding neural cardiovascular control in humans.

MMG signed act and Former B2K member, Omarion is being sued by two fans who claim they were assaulted during one of his concerts in Newburgh, New York. Kenson Sainvilus and Brunel Jordonne filed a lawsuit against Omarion and Ole Bar & Grill inn, stating they attended the concert and when fights started, the club securities chased them away from their VIP table where they felt secured.

   Kenson and Brunel further said they were attacked by random group of strangers. Sainvilus said he was punched in the head several times and court documents also state that he was maced by security as he tried to escape the fight. Jordonne claims that he was kicked in the head and had severe injuries.
The fans who are suing for unspecified damages said Omarion promised tight security on his posters for the concert but failed.

Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo has warned Khloe Kardashian to stop selling her Rich Soil New York T-shirts because the logo is similar to the one used by the state’s agricultural program. According to sources, the New York farm program uses the Statue of Liberty above a row of crops surrounded by the words Pride of New York as its logo.
    Pride of are replaced with Rich Soil which is the name of Kardashian’s company. Susan Rosenthal, a lawyer for the Department of Agriculture sent a letter to Khloe Kardashian asking her to remove the T-shirt from her clothing line.

SubSahara Records have finally confirmed that Camp Mulla has split. The announcement comes months after Tripper and Miss Karun left the group to pursue solo careers.
   The split was most evident at the recent MTV All Stars Concert in Durban, South Africa, where Shappaman and Kus Ma represented the Camp with help from rapper Collo and the fresh faced Tiri.

Tripper, in a recent interview said he has closed the door on Camp Mulla to recreate himself. he further stated,

I am working on a lot of new music with a fresh new sound that I don’t think has been experienced in Kenya. It’s a very unique sound that i can’t really explain. You will have to just hear it, Basically i'm looking at less flashy, informative music, you know… like mind music, which is pro-Africa. Not that i’m going to sound like Fela Kuti or anything, but I want to rap about what matters to me.

SubSahara records stated in a press release that Miss Karun will be focusing on her University education in the US and won't be able to continue as a member of Camp Mulla, which will still consist of Shappaman and Kus Ma.

Few weeks ago, Nicole Muxo expressed her wish on YouTube hoping that she could convince NBA all-star Dwayne Wade to attend her prom. Muxo didn’t get any reply from Wade, so she went ahead and accepted another invitation.

The 31 year old, who was spotted wearing a bright red shoe was allowed to enter the celebration, although most schools don't non students joining their prom events. In this case, camera crews were allowed to enter and students were treated to a special surprise.
