36 years old Shakira was spotted in the crowd wearing a sleeveless shirt during a football match. This is not supposed to be regarded as controversial but the image that was televised on the conservative Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting network made people tag the images as indecent and un-Islamic.
Iranian women are not allowed to accompany men to football matches, so showing Shakira on IRIB wearing a sleeveless shirt and enjoying a soccer match with men on TV sparked up the controversy.
