Hanniel Jamin, a high school graduate and model became the
Miss Universe Ghana on the 24th of May 2013, at the event which held at
La Palm Royal beach hotel in Accra .
Hanniel was declared as the winner out of ten contestants by the judges which comprised of actress Yvonne Nelson, 2011 Miss Universe winner Leila Lopez, Benny Blanco and model Veronica Varekova. Hanniel who is born to Ghanaian and Nigerian parents also won a full wardrobe allowance, one year gym membership and a
New York Film Academy scholarship.
