#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate Lauryn Hill's Prison Sentence Totally Reduced

The former Fugees member and Grammy award winning singer was given three month of incarceration deal instead of being in jail for 24 to 36 months. Lauryn Hill had previously petitioned the court for probation between 2005 and 2007 after she was found guilty of failing to pay more than $1.8 million.
Lauryn's attorney, Nathan Hochman was able reduce her sentence by proving that she paid her missed taxes in full and that she had not intentionally filed false returns. Hill appeared in front of Judge Madeline Cox Arleo and she has given Hill’s lawyers till July 8 to appeal the decision or appear for sentencing.
