#FRESHOUT9jaUpdate Tips On Purchasing Cars In Nigeria By @Minkail_Auto

Every week, we'll be giving you valuable tips on how to buy and maintain your cars. Most Nigerians pay less attention to their automobiles till they get faulty which is wrong, that's why we at  FRESHOUT9ja and Minkail Autos will keep educating you all  about these things to avoid major problems on Nigerian roads.
Naija's purchasing mentality and the Nigerian mentality generally is the reason why we have so many people doing the same thing. Mr A is selling furniture and he his successful, Mr B will want to sell too. His shop is located on the island, I want mine there too (even tho you cant afford it yet), so the money you are suppose to use in getting products has already been wasted on getting a space. We mostly dont have a mind of our own.
I deal mostly with ladies so I get this often,
Hey Soji, I need a car... a Toyota.. maybe a Honda, Preferably a Toyota Matrix, a corolla wont be bad either. If you have a nice not too expensive EOD I don't mind.

They always have something in mind. But if you ask why, this is where you start wondering what is in these people's head. Toyota without doubt is one of the best cars around here, after the cars for the elites ( Benz and Bmw). The fuel consumption is superb, they're are affordable, their spare parts are sold everywhere, hardly develops faults if properly maintained, so are other cars which is my point of writing this post.
There is nothing like a new car, a brand new 2012 kia Optima over a Tokunbo 2010 Toyota Corolla. This is because the brand new car is under warranty and you are the first user. The tokunbo car is not and you always feel something is wrong somewhere. Every car has its strength and weaknesses but if you utilize your car properly by following the maker's necessary instructions, you will visit the engineer's workshop for maintainance purposes only instead of repairs.
The Honda is also Japanese with sleek unique designs but gradually finding solution to its gear and ball joints problem in the recent models. If u see about 10 faulty cars on the road side when you travelling, 7 should be Honda with the front tyre facing another direction awkwardly.
Nissan is a strong economical Japanese car, with the aluminium engine as the bad part. Which means you can hardly fix the engine when faulty, but every other thing is wonderful. Not as much technology as the Honda on the inside though.
